I know nothing about painting but I do enjoy art. I enjoy looking at it. The type of art that I enjoy the most is the kind that tells me something about the person who painted it just by looking at it.
I'm glad you liked it. And I'm wondering what it tells you about me! If anything. I know what it tells me though.. I didn't have a gorgeous nude model to practice my drawing skills on, I ended up with a coupld of books:S
Tata, You're definitely right. I knew it while I was working on it too, but with watercolor what's done is done and can't be fixed. (just like when I try applying eye makeup) :)
I guess I need more practice Thanks a lot, your comments are highly appreciated
Hey shurouq, first time on ur blog, I like ur paintings alot! They have something different about them!
And this one of ur room, although the perspective is not perfect, I think it adds some kind of distinction to the place, makes it alot more personal if u know what I mean?
Im not a big fan of order and conformity, I like chaos better! So the less realistic the better! Keep up the good work :)
Dear Eva, The lower book is on art in Palestine.. I think that was the title too الفن التشكيلي في فلسطين And yes, the paintings are pretty old.. I might post more recent works soon.
(You liked "Sophia"? It was pretty good, it broke my heart. I got his other novel but didn't start reading it yet)
your style reminds me of van gogh, keep up the good work ...you shouldn't give up on painting girl , if you have art in your life you don't need anything elss ...i would love to have some of your work to hang in my boring office...don't give up
