Elephants in dreams represent memories, and because it is a baby elephant it's a recent event and not something from the deep past.
You are trying very hard to forget this memory, but it keeps haunting you - even though you are surrounded by people, and busy doing other things (hence jumping fences).
I wish you given us more details of the female ranger. Does she look like a relative, or a friend, or even you?
Probably she represents whomever is trying to get you out of your sad nostalgic thoughts, and she is pretty effective in doing that - she killed the elephant didn't she?
As for the navy blue suit - according to fashion experts - navy is the new black this season, so this person who is trying to help you has a keen sense of fashion. I guess she might suggest a shopping spree to shake off your sad thoughts, and you will find the excercise very refreshing, energizing and most importantly, successful.
In short, when you kick a man out of your life, don't forget to change your wardrobe ;)
