I’ve recently read a book that reminded me of Sartre’s (mauvaise foi: the bad faith) idea. I’m not sure if the author lived at the time of Sartre. I read the Arabic translation which was called العبودية المختارة and the author is إتين دي لابويسيه. It’s a very interesting book to read if you are into philosophy and politics :)
But Shurouq the guy died decades ago, what does he know about how the mind works at 3 am? Whats that thing he says about being too skeptical to be an atheist?
