You're right on beezo.

I too thought that directing the reader to another post was a perfect example of the blogger's unwillingness to write.

However, I absolutely loved that article you referred us to Shurooq. I was right on and came from someone who belongs to a more enlightened generation and who's seen the brighter days of Iraq.

To condescending Eagle Eye,

You're right concerning Iraq's doomed destiny as an oppressed public, they have long suffered from dictatorship.

You're wrong when you associate their suffering with their neighboring country, Kuwait. The vast repression that Iraq went through had occurred by dictators who have ruled with an Iron fist ever since the beginning of their existence as Mesopotamia.

Iraq has also suffered greatly through the United States' illegal and obscene invasion, which resulted in legitimizing the murder of innocent civilians and destroying what once was the leader of Arabic countries.

I have always loved the Iraqi people (still do), sympathized with their sufferings, and honored them whenever I could.

But don't you dare use Kuwait as a scapegoat for what Iraq has gone through.

Shrooq,

I just love your humanitarian/ communist/Gazan girl background.

Adore that about you actually. It's such a rare combination in Kuwait.

------------

That being said, I urge you to provide blogger SWS with the help needed to underscore a crucial matter that exists in Kuwait today.

Exploitation & mistreatment of domestic workers. It is obscene that this obscene behavior takes place on so many levels and on a large scale within the Kuwaiti community.

I have promised to do my part and every Kuwaiti should do his in regards to this epidemic which dehumanizes us as Kuwaitis.

Our mistreatment of domestic workers is so widespread and needs immediate uncovering of the truth. Nabeel & SWS have provided information in that regard but need support.

We must stop being people who choose to turn the other way and refuse to know.

A reference post of their blog would make a great difference. Thank you.

Eagle Eye,

Yes, we are a third world country and are repressed through wide-spread corruption that has been going on for decades and that will eventually lead to wide spread poverty if not stopped.

The Iraqi people were - and still are - much more oppressed than the Kuwaiti people. There simply is no comparison.

Apologize for the misunderstanding. Disagree with your viewpoint though.

Eagle Eye,

By the way, I like your blog. It's like a breath of fresh air. It offers a brand new and little explored field of spirituality and its relationship to people. What you write about is a must-know to attain peace of mind and spiritual health.

SWS is a very special lady. Her project deserves all the support we can muster. I couldn't agree.

Hey there sweetheart,

Now might be the perfect time to mention this, since you're idle or on emotional leave or something, choose your pick.

One of the first few posts that I've read of yours, I couldn't help but notice the way you addressed bloggers by labeling them "My Children".

I immediately thought this was rather condescending of you, lol. But then, as the days went by, I noticed that many bloggers sought you for various reasons, which all boil down to seeking help and support (visit my blog, check out that blog, help needed .. etc).

I laughed out loud at my initial condemnation of your labeling and realized that, to many, you have become a sort of fairy God mother, review your commentators' requests, it's rather endearing.

But even fairy God mothers need someone to lean on once in a while.

After all, big girls do cry, huh :-)
